How many volunteer hours does my family need to complete?
Each household is required to complete 4 volunteer hours per season, regardless of how many players are registered. Siblings are grouped under the same Family ID and share the same 4-hour requirement. Families who paid the volunteer opt-out fee at registration are exempt from completing volunteer hours. 

Where can I find volunteer opportunities?
Use the Family Volunteer Portal or Student & Community Volunteer Portal to view current opportunities and sign up.

How do I check my completed volunteer hours?
Select Check Volunteer Hours in the appropriate portal. Families will use their Family ID to view their approved hours.

What is my Family ID?
Each ALBION SC household is assigned a unique Family ID (for example, ALB-0178). Family IDs are assigned per household, not per player. Families receive their ID by email.

Do siblings have separate volunteer requirements?
No. Siblings within the same household share one Family ID and one family volunteer requirement.

Who is exempt from the family volunteer requirement?
Families who have paid the volunteer opt-out fee or are fulfilling an approved exempt club role do not need to complete additional family volunteer hours.

Can students volunteer with ALBION SC?
Yes! Students and community members can use the Student & Community Volunteer Portal to find opportunities and keep track of their service hours.

When will my volunteer hours appear in the portal?
Hours appear once they have been submitted and approved. There may be a short delay between completing an activity and seeing the approved hours in the portal.

Can I cancel a volunteer shift after signing up?
Yes. Families can use the cancellation option in the Family Volunteer Portal. Please cancel as early as possible so the opportunity can be made available to another volunteer.

How are my volunteer hours verified?

Volunteer hours are verified after your volunteer activity is completed. For team-based volunteer opportunities, your Coach or Team Manager will verify and approve your hours. If you volunteer at an ALBION SC club event, the Event Coordinator will verify your hours. Once approved, your hours will be added to your family’s volunteer record and will appear in the Family Volunteer Portal. 

Who do I contact if my hours, Family ID, or volunteer information looks incorrect?
